Lynn Hallowell

Lynn retired from 25 years of teaching mathematics at Pierce College and began experimenting in watercolor in 2020. She has also been learning to make dye baths for fibers from mushrooms and lichens. These overlapping interests result in paintings that explore life both above and below ground. Of particular interest to her are the connections between life forms and the interactions of life with decay.
